You may be wondering what FLL stands for. It stands for FIRST Lego League. You may be wondering what FIRST stands for. FIRST = For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology.

I am part of an awesome FLL team called Team N.O.A.M.  (Nerds On A Mission)  Recently we just came back from our State Championship.

Here is A Day In The Life of A FLL Team Member:

6:00-Wake up call.

6:45 Have breakfast with all of the team.

7:00-Leave the hotel.

As soon as we arrive judging starts. We are judged on our actions and comments.

7:15 Arrive and set up the Pit. (the pit is the place where we will stay basically all day)

8:45-Team N.O.A.M Project, Robot, and Core Values judging starts.

9:30-All done with judging.

9:45-Robot Games tables open for calibrating and tests, this only includes the coding team this luckily included me.

10:00-12:00-We wait in the pit and talk about our project.

12:00-Opening Ceremony

12:20-Back to the pit.

1:45-Our first Robot games.

1:50-Back to the pit.

2:45-Second Robot games.

2:50-Back to the pit.

3:45-Third Robot games.

3:50-Back to the pit.

5:00-Closing Ceremony

 

The Project:

We invented a Retro-Fit for Zippers or RFZ for short. The RFZ was originally designed for bee suits but we have expanded our idea to everything with a zipper.

The Robot Games:

The Robot games are fun and eventful.
